Subject: some questions for our network Hey , So, the purpose of our Youth Power Shift campaign is to create a national network of students and youth pushing for energy justice in order to share resources and build collective power through joint action. To help us all gauge what kind of a network we have right now, please answer 5 short questions: ===================================================================== 1. Are you the contact person for your group (and can you email me the name of it?)? If not, who is? 2. In what topics related to Youth Power Shift do you have experience/expertise? (e.g. wind energy purchasing, community-based environmental justice work, student resolutions for clean energy, etc.) 3. What do you want from Youth Power Shift; how can a national energy campaign best support and strengthen the work you are already doing locally? 4. How do you see yourself fitting into Youth Power Shift (select all that apply)? a. Local contact - relay information between local campaign and national network, take local action. b. Share a few resources, art pieces, contacts, bits of input with the national network c. Participate locally in grassroots-powered national days of action d. Participate in twice-monthly Youth Power Shift conference calls when available e. Actively participate in a campaign working group - network building, climate justice, planning, etc. f. Help lead and direct the national campaign as a co-coordinator 5. Can you point us towards any other people in your group who would be interested in doing some of these things? ===================================================================== Thank you kindly. --
