SEAC recognizes the connection between environmental destruction and war. Note the links in the left hand bar to learn more about this struggle and how to join it.
The environmental activist community must no longer remain silent on the issue of militarism. We must recognize and organize around the destructiveness of military activities and cultivate a renewed environmental peace movement. The Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC), in collaboration with numerous other grassroots organizations, is standing up to the "military-industrial-entertainment-complex," and demanding a future free of state-sponsored violence and environmental destruction.
SEACers have recently participated in No War No Warming, making the connection between war for oil and global warming.
